From the PGA's website.....

"Tour officials expect it will take as much as $775,000 to finish in the top 125 and keep full status for next year. "

What this does not address is the question of whether you can be awarded a card in 2013 by finishing in the top 125 of money earners by playing a limited schedule without a full card in 2012 or whether money earned in Major's such as the British Open count toward the earnings number.

The same can be asked about the Fed Ex Cup and Race for Dubai events Daly will likely qualify for as additional money streams toward earnings.

The number to qualify for the first 125 is likely to be less this year as the "Tiger Effect" is corrected. That being the effect of Tiger's post fire hydrant earnings number decreasing substantially causing a redistribution of monies among players bumping the earnings of those in the field as a whole. That will not happen this year with Tiger winning at least three times.

It's fairly rare for guys to earn their card through Q school, then lose it to nonperformance, then play better and get another year of exemption which is what may happen here if Daly has a July like his June with two strong performances....

I just have not read anywhere that if he earns enough to finish in the top 125. on a very limited playing schedule, that he would be given a full card for 2013 after losing his PGA card for several years.
