One Christmas Eve, when I lived in Boston, I got out of work and was feeling sort of depressed because I was going to be spending the Holiday alone. On my way to the subway station I saw a homeless father, his daughter and their cat and dog huddled outside of the station cooking themselves dinner. I stopped into the corner mart and bought a bunch of food, including dog and cat food and brought it back to the family and wished them a Merry Christmas.

Sometimes we really don't realize how lucky we really are to have the very basic of things and how little efforts can mean so much to someone without them.
