The sponsors will start disappearing by the dozen. The expense of these settlements and loss of income could be devastating. He wouldn't be the first excessively rich guy to blow it all on a set of circumstances like this.

The privileges in life Tiger has due to the fact that he can hit and roll a little white ball perhaps better than anyone ever on the planet are very fleeting. Should the sponsors start to treat him like JDaly as this thing drags on a few more rounds and new episodes of Tiger blotto with the paid help will make an easy case for a very public need for a "focused recovery". Tiger will get mad and go into denial sending the sponsors for the hills especially with him not playing.

The fine line between being the best golfer and being just good is not very much. I think it's possible Tiger might have more of an addiction issue than the media has highlighted so far.

The fact that the guys impulse control is so horrendous with women is evidence of the same battle alcoholics and drug addicts fight everyday.

It may be a mistake to assume that the night of his accidents (car to tree, car to hydrant) he didn't finally lose the ability to hide his substance abuse due to his meds and drinking. This out of control behavior has been likely escalating as well. Raise your hand if you downed an Ambien SR with alcohol and Percocet last night, as Tiger did apparently. Choosing to party with that mix and then get behind the wheel of your car is just stupid and dangerous. These are horrible choices like sending voice mail to women to take their names off of a phone seemingly not getting it that those messages would become YouTube classics.

Who knows how long these examples of mixing intoxicants have been going on the way this guy disappears for long lengths of time publicly. Throw in some future propofol for problems sleeping that his ambien isn't fixing and we have a Michael Jackson type cocktail.

The best thing that could happen here would be for the state of Florida to quietly take a look at who is writing what and for what disease for Mr Woods. If some concierge doc is just giving Tiger what he is demanding the whole situation may be more dangerous than people currently think especially if Tiger is now horribly depressed and choosing to self medicate himself.

Tiger's current issues aren't just about new indoor records worthy of first ballot entry into the golfing Infidelity Hall of Shame.
