Not everyone on tour or otherwise likes/liked Tiger. I have a very difficult time believing that his behavior was so widely known.
And there's absolutely no way he stays away forever. He's far too competitive to bring himself to that. I wonder what he'd choose between keeping Elin and quitting golf forever.

I think the reason it took so long to come out is because he got much more brazen about it the last few years. As I said before, I don't think he was messing around much before he got married. In the late 90s when he was single, he was in Las Vegas all the time taking lessons from Butch Harmon. Back then, Tiger was not wild. He used to go to PF Changs alot with his friends. That was his favorite restaurant. Once in while, he would go to the Vodoo Longe and hang out a little bit, but that was it. On rare occasions, he would get a little drunk. But for the most part, he was all business. He was not a wild partier. He was not picking up girls.
I think he started his partying and wild life after he got married. And I think the more he did it, the more he enjoyed it and he just got wilder and wilder. I think we have a guy who started with a a couple of discreet affairs, and then he enjoyed it so much that he turned into an all-out womanizer. I think the last few years, his womanizing started spiraling out of control.
