I've gotten the regular flu a couple of times in the past and recovered in a few days each time.
It's never occurred to me to get a vaccination for this, as I know even if I get the flu I'll recover. Only through reading different forums and reading about people panicking and getting the vaccination has the idea even crossed my mind that there is even a vaccination. But still, I don't believe I'll ever get the vaccination.
I don't know what "swine" flu is like though, so maybe the circumstances are different, but I feel fairly safe not taking any type of flu vaccination.
