Word is Jenkins is done for the year, which kills any chance we had at a deep playoff run anyway. Sanchez was embarrassingly bad today, but if anyone's giving up on him this early, they're morons. His numbers through his first six starts are pretty much identical to Eli Manning's. Actually slightly better.
Manning: 0-6, 77-170 (45.2%), 899 yards, 3 TD, 8 INT
Sanchez: 3-3, 85-163 (52.1%), 1,035 yards, 5 TD, 10 INT
Even Peyton threw 28 INTs in his rookie year. Sanchez has the goods, but he's 22 and requires patience. I've given up the brief hopes that we were a Super Bowl caliber team this year, but I still think the future is bright w/the Dirty.
