As if females can only be injured when racing against males. You are aware that there are PLENTY of occassions where horses run in the slop and don't break down aren't you? You are aware that there are PLENTY of times where horses run on dry dirt and do break down aren't you? Should he not run her if it's hard and dry because, after all, who can forget Ruffian or Go for Wand or Charismatic or Flanders or Old Fashioned or Lion Heart or.......well you get the point.
