I think he's without question the fastest horse Bill Mott ever trained. Back before they reconfigured Gulfstream - it was a very speed friendly track. Elusive Quality ran only two times there in his life - and posted Beyers of 122 and 123 in those two races. As fast as he was, he amazingly never won a stake race on dirt.
And from the fastest sprinter Mott ever trained .... to probably the worst horse Mott has trained in the last 20 years ... I give you Kobla ... the mother of Quality Road.
Pretty impressive two race career.
