I was at Turfway for Rampillion last Friday night , and the Turfway stretch is slightly an uphill run (about 6-8 foot change) - that far turn end of the track is lower - and frankly, that corner (the turn heading into the stretch) seemed extra-low and boggy (like it had been scraped even lower a bit there in by the fence by track maintenance)
Jocks last Friday seemed to be letting the horses come 3 wide or wider through there on purpose last Friday. Didn't watch today other than Silverpusses race (congrats!)
And, she was wide on the backstretch, too - so seems they do want off the rail.
