So did I... growing up, 18 years in Jersey outside of Philly. I have no allegiance to some team just because I lived in or near their city at one point in my life. I find the notion of "being stuck" rooting for a team kinda laughable in that regard.
When I lived in DC I rooted for the Orioles (pre - Nats), when I lived in Pittsburgh I rooted for the Pirates. Now I happily live in Tampa Bay, have been rooting for the Rays since I got here (and that has been no small feat
