Short of him actually betting the race for you, I'm not sure what more you want.

I've learned that it does pay to actually listen and try to understand people like Andy and the fat man, because their opinions always have a strong explanation behind them, which you can learn from whether you agree with it or not. I have a lot to learn about handicapping and betting, but I know both of those guys have helped me.

That said, I would encourage you to continue to take shots at both of them while relying on speed figures, DRF quick sheets and jockey angles. That way, I’m confident that there will still be value on horses like Slambino. Good luck.

Thanks for the info .....The above has to do with why you shouldn't toss obvious horses in multi race bets, not an approach to picking winners as it was in a P6 thread. Pick up a copy of "Exotic Betting" if you would like to know more about that one.

If you over emphasize any single 'cappin approach (trips) in this example, IMO you will spend your life as an ATM machine for the pools. I suggest a wider scope of information with weighted insight based on the variables of the day like......today speed on the turf should do well with a yielding turf course and changes to the inner with tighter turns and the rails at 18 feet making it tougher to close.

It's too bad the exchange above was public as it really was personal with my own inappropriate participation responsible for a great deal of it. Having said that I take offense to 1) bullies I have seen continuously ridicule others here especially newcommers 2) players who don't take responsibility for bad betting blaming everyone from jockey's to bad trips to replay angles for losing.

My comments have to do more with the above than the anything else. I need to work on not getting so irritated but that's another story....
