And when you miss a few weeks of training that means you're not going to be able to run for a couple of months. I don't think the filly's feet were ever really the same after that. She always seemed to have little problmes with her feet after that. It was a shame because she had never had foot problems before she stumbled and grabbed the quarter.

Thanks for the info Rupert, now I am left guessing who that horse was? BTW I don't know if you feel comfortable talking about this on a public forum but why did Stronach separate himself from Hoffmans after they had a pretty good year. A Plate, A Lexington and a Belmont is not too shabby.
