That surface is deeper than GP,Churchill, or Pimlico., and it does factor somewhat in this. I mean Sarava, Bird whatever, and Tara did something on this surface that they simply weren't able to do on other surfaces. Tara couldn't win an ungraded stakes anywhere else, but takes this grade one. People should respect the power of this surface, because it matters to horses a lot.
