Kind of surprised by some of the comments here. Anyway, I watch a tremendous amount of replays. Different people have different styles, and people's minds work differently. I watch races everyday, tracks all over the US. If it were harness racing, I think it would be easier -- week to week, # of races watched between starts, etc.

Obviously, replays do not help everyone. Trips? Yeah, OK, maybe -- under a very specific circumstance. Other aspects? Absolutely, again, same circumstance. Obviously, you have to know what you are looking at. I've heard hard-cores tell me that replays don't help them at all. Then they don't know what they are looking at. Great, don't watch replays.

If you learn what you are looking at replays can be extremely valuable. There are many aspects to the game that some people just don't take into consideration, have access to, been exposed to, etc.
