I'm sure Churchill made this decision exactly for the reason that it's Derby Day and they considered the havoc a bet like this could ( and probably would ) create at the track. However, it is a very poor business decision overall and maybe they should have allowed it everywhere BUT the track. I would imagine that a high percentage of the on-track patrons who were genuinely upset about a decision like that already have ADW accounts and would have had the ability to make their dime supers either over the phone or on-line before going to the races ( Derby betting begins Friday ).
Feels a little short-sighted to me.
