I have only gotten on 2 other two year olds so far. I just got back from Oaklawn yesterday so today was my first day to have seen them. I can say that she has a very sane mind and is very mature. I got on one baby today that once he hit the race track took off at a sprint and didn't want to stop were as she walked on the track and did exactly as she was asked to do. She moves very well and does all her lead changes on cue (that in itself speeks volumes when it comes to "green" babies). Kenny Lejuene has always done an excellent job with the horses he sends to us, all of the babies are well broke and well acclimated to the race track. This makes it very easy to get the babies into training. Some babies get in and don't steer very well or haven't really been exposed to hustle and bustle of a busy racetrack and it takes them a while to get comfortable to their surroundings. When babies come in and already broke to all of that we don't have to take time to get them used it all and can immediately move forward with their training. It makes a HUGE, positive difference when you get a baby in that is broke as well as she is. (Now that I have said nice things about her she will probably buck me off tomorrow)
