He always puts a horse in a position to win, and he is the best finisher in the US. He gets more out of the horses than anyone else because he is so physical on them.
IMO, Prado is good, but he isn't as good as Gomez. If Prado was better than Gomez, he would be beating him on the money earned list.
To me, denying that Gomez is the best jockey at this point is like denying that Todd Pletcher is the best trainer.

Prado could have a lot more in earnings if he jumped coasts for wherever the biggest purses are everyday like Gomez does. Prado was also injured and missed the BC which makes comparing earnings in 2007 completely irrelevant. In 2006 they were seperated by less than $350,000.
