I disagree. I think Gomez is in a league of his own, and he keeps proving it every year by being at the top of the money won on horse's list.
He always puts a horse in a position to win, and he is the best finisher in the US. He gets more out of the horses than anyone else because he is so physical on them.
IMO, Prado is good, but he isn't as good as Gomez. If Prado was better than Gomez, he would be beating him on the money earned list.
To me, denying that Gomez is the best jockey at this point is like denying that Todd Pletcher is the best trainer.
