Agreed.. Was really thinking that Tagg had just overstated the horse's potential. He carried on last summer about him extensively, (for Tagg anyway), and when he was ordinary in the Remsen and dreadful in the Hutch, it seemed like there just wasn't much there. He's a great horseman though, and if he thought the colt had talent, we probably should have just trusted his judgement. Cost me the VERY generous tri yesterday as I left him out...

Just stick by your gut instinct. A lot can happen in the Derby and if this colt makes it into the field, he deserves a look. I liked what I saw yesterday and while some others may disagree about that, that's what makes this sport so much fun.
