I don't think De Kock handled Asiatic Boy very well at all. Ascot would have been perfect for him, but the excuse was that they wanted more time to get him race fit, but then the excuse at Goodwood was that he still wasn't fit enough.
It was a shame we had such a wash out over the summer.
I think the ratings are almost spot on from what I have seen over the last year. I think Ramonti does deserve to be one or two points higher, no matter how tight his races are, it's the horses he has beaten that impresses me.
I don't think English Channel deserves the rating he has been given. Swap him and Ramonti around and I think that would be correct.
Also, swap Hard Spun and Any Given Saturday around in my opinion.
As I said before, these people know what they're talking about, so I'm prepared to agree with their verdict.
