I have a client in Chicago. He and his wife were in Miami Beach so I offered to buy them dinner, their choice of restaurant. We went to a french place called Evolution. We had the "tasting menu." $650 for the 4 of us, including tip. They brought out small pieces of food I could barely see. The chef stopped by the table and asked me to describe my "experience." I told him that where I come from the portions he served are commonly referred to as "bait." After "dinner," drove straight to Wolfy Cohen's Rascal House deli and got a rare roast beef which I happily ate on the drive home. Live and learn.
