Actually that is fairly common at Arl. People just play them without any imagination, favorite first, second and third betting choices boxed second and third, etc.
A friend who frequents Arlington and Trackside regularly does ten-centers all the time. She does .10 quick picks (which always put the favorite first or second) and ends up with a 4 inch stack of tickets. Wins maybe once in a month's worth of tickets. She does, however, put some thought into her boxed .50 tri's and wins frequently, and decent money for the amount she spends.
