For all of you that got to read my Vegas transcipt from about a year ago, this will come as a nice compliment to such stories. This weekend was just RIDICULOUS as I just didn't stop, and I WAS AT HOME, I wasn't even in Vegas. Timeline below
Wednesday 5pm: Scav frantically gets all work done and tells work friends ADIOS for four days. Jumps in Envoy, picks up friend and drives to Wilmington, IL (10 miles south of Joliet).
Wednesday 7pm: NCAA Auction, which paired seeds (example, you got the 7 seed from the top left bracket with the 10 seed from the bottom right bracket). We bid on teams throughout the night and ended up with Maryland-Albany, SIU-New Mexico St., Louisville-Winthrop, BC-Gonzaga, and Nevada-Georgia Tech. Pretty happy for first experience, should be nuts next year as word of mouth.
Wednesday 10pm: 1-2 NL Omaha Hi-Lo game breaks out, 9 deep playing, on AVERAGE we had 6-7 callers per hand, VERY LOOSE game
Wednesday 11:30pm: Scav flops a set in holdem and takes down a $400 pot, ROLLING
Thursday 12:30am: POURING SLEET, Scav and friend leave up $400 each. Planned on going to gambling boat in Joliet but weather makes us RETHINK. Rethought for two minutes and said "Like we are not going to the boat"
Thursday 1am: Get to boat, ROCKING with people. Joliet = not the nicest area for two north suburban dudes in decent ride
Thursday 3:30am: Scav and Friend walk out of BOAT UP another $600 each, absolutely ROLLING
Thursday 4:45am: Scav gets home, goes to sleep
Thursday 8:45am: Scav gets up and get to his first doctor's appointment in 6 years (physical and overall checkup)
Thursday 10:40am: Doctor real comedy guy. Real quietly he tells me to drop my shorts so he can check the essentials, I am like "What?" says it quietly again, I am like "Yo Doc, I got what you got, just tell me to take my pants off" CLEAN BILL OF HEALTH pending, waiting for blood results, DOCTOR says Scav need to lose a couple but HEALTHY AS AN OX.
Thursday 11:20am: Go to Buffalo Wild Wings and LOAD up on food since I had to vast for 12 hours, BOOTLEG!!
Thursday 11:35am: Get to friends house to watch NCAA games, deposit into Youbet.
Thursday 12:45pm: Deposit into Youbet again, GETTING SMOKED in horses, hit first four sports bets
Thursday 3pm: Deposit into Youbet again, swallowing the pole that wasn't stuck in my mouth, OTHER END. Can't pick a winner
Thursday 5pm: Wave white flag on horses
Thursday 8pm: Tell friend crazy tired, driving home and radar goes off. Arlington OTB is calling, need to make a run
Thursday 10pm: BOOM!! Hit first four tickets walking in door, ROLLIN, was down like $1200 on day, BACK TO EVEN so I WAS LEAVIN
Friday 10am: DENTIST appointment, first cleaning in a while, Dentist tells Scav "TEETH ARE PERFECT, no cavitys" Scav does the cavity dance
Friday 11:20am: Back to friends for NCAA games, getting PUMPED for SIU
Friday 4pm: NCAA games not going to well from a spread perspective. Got SMOKED again on the horses, just pissing away money
Friday SIU GAME: Play extremely poor, and loose a great player...BLAH
Friday 1am: Call friend, tell him he has two seconds to make a decision. BOAT or NO BOAT
Friday 4am: Leave gambling boat, up 700
Saturday 1pm: Finally get some sleep, try playing the horses again. Youbet cuts Scav off because can only deposit 3k within a 7 day period. GET PISSED
Saturday 2:30pm: Go to Trackside OTB, FINALLY meet Dellinger and Satan's Twin. REALLY cool guys. Play a large pick three singled to Any Given Sunday, WHOA!!! Sends Scav on Tilt
Saturday 4pm: Scav goes home, gets money, BACK TO TRACKSIDE
Saturday 4:30pm: Scav goes home, gets money BACK TO TRACKSIDE
Saturday 5pm: Scav goes home
Saturday 7pm: Scav goes to watch UCLA/Indiana game at friends house
Saturday 10pm: Scav pissed because UCLA can't cover against putrid Indiana team
Saturday 11pm: Scav goes sleep
Sunday 10am: Scav wakes up off good sleep, thanks to Xanax
Sunday SIU Game: SIU plays good, looking forward to challenge of Kansas
Sunday right now: LICKING WOUNDS and have to go on business training trip for all of next week BLAH
