just keep in mind that the small crops meant less chances of producing a superior horse. that's one way of looking at it.

also, man o war did NOT duck exterminator, who was invited to, but failed to show, for what turned out to be the match race between sir barton and man o war.

man o war set records that stand to this day, in the age of faster tracks.
