If I'm being honest, I think you are extremely naïve, and some growing up may be in order.
What the Clintons appear to have done is leverage their relationships. People, whether they be politicians, taxi drivers, farmers, hookers, media types, etc., have been leveraging relationships since Christ was a Corporal. The only difference here is that it's GASP!!

Take Rudy Giuliani, for instance... the most rabid of Clinton critics; yet he's made millions upon millions in speeches and "consulting" by leveraging the fact that he was the Mayor of New York on 9/11. What was the joke that Joe Biden made about him when he ran for President? Aah, yes, thank you Google.

Rudy also succeeded in getting his crooked Police Commissioner, Bernard Kerik, a job in the Bush Administration as the MINISTER OF INTERIOR OF IRAQ (!!!!). Kerik probably couldn't have picked out Iraq on a map, but because of his connection to Giuliani, he got the job. It was only after he tried to get the job of Homeland Security that the shite hit the fan and the country found out exactly what sort of crook he was.
I could spend all day w/examples of palm greasing, quid pro quos, pay for play... call it what you like, but I think you get my meaning.
As for my profession... I am extremely proud of what I do. My small and major donors, as well as the hundreds of volunteers I've worked with have helped better the lives of hundreds of thousands of people are around the world.
And what do YOU do for a living? Must not be too proud of it since it's hidden from your profile.
