Points and ROI Totals for 2024 and 2025 Contest Year . . .

Starting off way behind, not the best sign but I have had cataract eye surgery recently . . . that's a good excuse for now anyway?!

JolyB starts the year off hot as a pistol with a very comfortable lead, so far. The rest is pretty to figure out.

BTW, my eye correction is for distance so this computer typing is definitely a challange until I get my prescrption readers and that won't happene until I get my other eye fixed and all healed up. Expect some typos but that's nothing new for me.

1: 63 - JolyB
2: 28 - Rea Quiet
3: 16 -DonGuido
16 - Indian Hemp
16 - Digger
6: 13 - Cal828
7: 11 - Alli
8: 7 - Ruffian

Thanks for playing y'all!!!

JolyB 12-06-2024 07:36 PM

Don, thank you very much for tabulating these totals in spite of the challenges you have been confronting. We don't take enough time to recognize the efforts you have put in to keep our small but enthusiastic band of handicappers functioning. Hope the eye surgeries continue to be successful.

Yes, I do remember at least parts of the song. I guess that makes me old:(

There was a line that said,"That's when I fell for the Leader of the Pack" and another that said, "I'm sorry I hurt you the Leader of the Pack", each of which was followed by the sound of a big Harley revving up.

I think her love's name was Jimmy.

I don't have to guess about it. I am old, if not ancient. I remember Bill Haley and the Comets and Little Richard singing Tutti Fruiti and how people thought Elvis' gyrations on stage were shocking and probably the work of the Devil. Of course that was a bit before 1964. More like mid 50s, I think.

I remember the same and a whole lot more JB, essentially certifying we are like well aged wine but perhaps of a dfferent vintage?!
