Two weeks and 7 PASSING TD"S. I have to admit, i had given up on him ever becoming a passing qb, but i have to admit, he has carved up two decent defense through the air.

i always considered him to be the most overrated player in the NFL.

i watched the whole game yesterday

Ya okay pillow, you haven't made sense yet. Aren't you down like 2000 or something in your bets. Vick is playing out of this world right now. He is running only when he needs too and the accuracy is finally there. Before this year, he never really had a solid recieving core. Now he has a couple of young guns who can catch. Its making a big diffrence.

That's ridiculous. Big Ben has a ring.

What hype? The guy led his team to a Super Bowl win. If he's so overrated then why didn't the Steelers win in previous years when they had almost the same team? He made a big difference and that is evident since he's not 100% this year. Look where they are.

Now with Vick his numbers the past two games were good. Will he keep putting up those numbers? Highly unlikely. The Steelers have shown nothing but a hangover from last year and the Bungles defense is bush league.

Granted they've got two easy games coming up but after that the schedule gets brutal.

We'll see if Vick lives up to the hype. I've always said he'll never win a Super Bowl.

Vick deserves criticism for his play before the Steelers game. Look at the numbers. Horrible.

Booye, stick to playing the poly. Ben was amazing in the Cincy, Indy, & Denver playoff games last year and got hit by a god damn mini van this summer. He finally got back to par in the KC and Atlanta games, doubt you watched em, but he looked very good, and until he took a helmet to helmet blow - anohter concussion. But hey, I"m biased ;)


As for my pick of most overrated, it has to be Reggie Bush. The hype was bigger for him than it is for Bernardini, yet the guy has done nothing this year. 70 carries for 212 yards (3.0 avg) and 0 TD's rushing or receiving! 1 TD total. Sure, he's young, but overrated still.

They are making Ben do too much and it has exposed him as nothing more than an average NFL QB. Their yards per rush and yards per pass play are barely down from last year (4.0 to 3.8 and 7.7 to 7.6). The big difference is that they are letting Ben throw more. Last year they ran 59% of the time. This year it is only 49% of the time. Not surprisingly allowing Ben to throw more has produced more interceptions, 11 this year after 12 all of last season plus they have 3 QB fumbles already (1 by Batch) which typically occur in passing situations. What is interesting is when Batch has played they have stuck to their approach of running 60% of the time and have been effective. For some reason when Ben is in they feel the need to change the ratio to pass more than they run. I don't understand why you would vacate your recipe for success from last season. Losing the Bus hurt but they should still be running the ball more to reduce turnovers and let their defense win them games.

Sorry Baba...Steelers have NO run game...and BR shouldn't have played on Sunday, but that dunderhead Cowher HAD to have him in there! Talk about rolling the dice!!! I dont care that his drs. all said he was able to play...they were Stupid with his health and got away with it. But look at the punishment he took...5 sacks just adds to the damage. And now Puttsburgh is tied with the Raiders?? Mama mia.:(

Bens big problem is, they can't run and he has no one to throw too. Holmes has not impressed me yet. Hines ward is being covered by everyone on the field. When you can't run and you have no one to throw too... its going to be a long year.

I believe this team has a better chance of winning with Charlie Batch at QB right now, including before the Oakland game. Ben is not right, you can see out there.
