Rockies Prez dies at 48
 
I was shocked when I saw this! No reason yet for his cause of death.

6ft 7 270....Hearts aren't made to handle this kind of body for that long. People don't realize when you get above a certain high/weight combo you are a time bomb. RIP by the way

You did some homework,huh? That's a big guy,for sure...but it shocks you
that a primo sich like being a Prez in MLB could pass so soon.......

Some of my in-laws lived to be 100 and big like he was, go figure!

65-70 for people this big....Look at ex-NFL lineman for example. Not a long life expectancy. Andre the Giant dead early 40's

Well Andre was special.....but most of those linemen had diabetes and other complications....diabetes being the trump card in life

He did play in the NFL. According to the radio he was a tight end.

Wonder if he inherited diabetes from his parents like I unfortuneately did. Being diagnosed with diabetes has been a big wake up call for me. Very few times do I eat out at a fast food place. Also I have dropped 50 pounds in the past two years and went from a waist of 40 to a 36. had to buy some new shorts and shirts. Glucose readings are much better now with the new insulin I am on.
