ESPN Streak For The Cash
 

Is anyone else playing this fun contest? It has a monthly prize of $100,000. You have to have the longest streak for the month to win the monthly. Lots of different sports involved in this contest. Im thinking of trying to set up a group for any DTers if they are interested.

I guess no one wants to win 100,000 in a contest that is free to enter. Probably its me. I could care less if its me.

I've been playing from the beginning. It is fun and keeps me interested in games and sports that I normally wouldn't care about. It also can be quite frustrating....

You have to pick one hitter a day and obviously you need them to get a hit. Pick the right guy for 57 days and you win like 3 million (or something like that). It's pretty cool, especially if you like baseball.

I wonder if anyone picked Joe Dimaggio back in the day and that's why it's at 57 games:D

Yes it is frustrating. Whats your best streak? I got up to 14 back in Dec 08. This year im at 10. How are you doing at soccer?

Probably not, everyone back then was too busy going to the track.

I hovered around .500 with soccer in '08-'09, but I have gotten considerably better lately because I have become a bit more choosey (42-24 in 2010). I'm trying to stay away from the lower level leagues/games and that has helped.

So far this year some how I am 26-9. The bad part is I have been too much of a chicken to pick some of the matches. I would of won them. Before this year I was stinking it up in soccer. Seems like this year soccer has been going according more also.

I got up to 14 a few years ago in the MLB beat the streak. Never got close to that again

I just got in this month. Best streak is 3. I'm terrible, but it is fun to try.

Your more than welcome to join the group. Im currently at a L4, hoping to avoid an L5 wing Bangalore in cricket. Its fun at times but it can be frustrating.
