Was just straightening up the threads and such, and noticed the lack of interest for Turfway...

It's quite a testimony to the 'importance' of the $500,000 Lanes End and its' undercard that there wasn't ONE post about it leading up to yesterday... Just think about all the kudos you could have received for lauding the great Dean's Kitten or brilliant Exhi in advance of their epic Lanes and Rushaway wins. :wf

This thread doesn't contain the race that the best horsey on the day was in. :p

You weren't impressed with Cool Bullet?

Absolutely. Still prefer his stablemate Cash Refund, but yes, he may have been the day's most impressive horsey.

It's just that Ky Preps on Poly have no bearing on how horses will run in the Derby.
I am a fan of Dean's Kitten but, he has no shot to crack the top ten in Louisville on May 1st.
Ramsey should wheel him back in 2 weeks in the Blue Grass for the shot at a Grade 1, where he actually has a fighting chance.

VJ,

Will be interesting when the money scenario comes into play to see how Ramsey handles things if keeping Dean's Kitten out of Derby allows Pleasant Prince in...

Dean's Kitten is even money to be in the last place trifecta in the Derby. Horse has no shot and will be 50/1 or higher.
