northeastbound123 03-16-2010 09:17 PM

bad idea

asudevil 03-16-2010 09:17 PM

Is it good? Or does it water it down?

Keeneland had 50 cent trifectas last year. I'm sure they are doing this in response to the surveys they are always taking of their patrons, or in response to HANA, etc.

it will put more money in the pool i think.im for it. it allows you to spread abit more in the 12 plus fields. look at the gulfstream pick 4s they have been very large all year and they are 50/c

And as i always say, dont forget this helps keep the IRS out of your pocket. If you play for a dollar, get it twice for 50 cents. The IRS laws are very old and they dont seem to want to change them, so the tracks are helping us out.

Last time I checked it was our "brilliant" politicians that actually wrote the laws and not the IRS.

i agree. more people in the better. plus, the payouts are insane. who cares who wrote the laws it also helps you avoid reporting some pretty good scores. i wish ny did this.

I'm betting KEE Spring Synthetic for the first time.

I'd love to say I missed the old Gold Rail dirt track they had ... but I never really made any great scores there. I atleast think I did real well with horses who would leave there with screwed up form anyway.

Absolutely agree...............this is my favorite thing about these or any wagers...........use the minimum and try and dodge the 'tax' man.
