He already won for fun on dirt.

I know (an off-the-turfer, however), that is why it will be interesting after his bad race on chewed up tupperware.

I have him at 85-1, so I'll be watching.

Bank The Eight is pretty good, tough post for Middle of the Night.

Launch N Relaunch looked like he could be decent too.

Agreed..have him at 150-1 in vegas as a future book...its a bit of a reach but i like his maiden breaker..stumbled and overcame it to win

Anxious to see the fig come back on this race.

Eskenderaya's splits and internal halves: :24.3, :23.0 (:47.3), :24.0 (:47.0), :25.0 (:49.0)

They didn't go fast enough early for anyone to make up any ground, but it's not like the winner was especially impressive doing it either.

Inclined to think nobody is too special out of this event.

With a short runup the opening fractions at 1 mile are always slow. They went faster early than Quality Road in the Hal's Hope, though QR didn't break as fast and did have to rush up somewhat.
The winner stood out as a SW already, but looks like a potential threat as the "Derby Prep" season gets underway.

92. . . Not too bad considering what others have been running.

Thx Hock.. Solid enough. Just... uninspiring.

Now the torture begins. Four weeks of hoping for no stubbed toes--all you want is your shot.

PS: I was slightly confused about this ticket when I posted this back in January. This is a 100-1 ticket ($20).
