Lloydobler with nice :49.4 half (5th of 43)
 

LLOYDOBLER continues to train nicely for his debut, and will have his last serious pre-start work Friday at Belmont going 4f or 5f from the training track gate. The work should earn him his gate pass, and a maiden race December 31 continues to be the target.

Racing should be a good career for him.
When asked about other possible careers, it is reported that the horse said:

"I don't want to sell anything, buy anything, or process anything as a career. I don't want to sell anything bought or processed, or buy anything sold or processed, or process anything sold, bought, or processed, or repair anything sold, bought, or processed. You know, as a career, I don't want to do that." :)

Although he easily outbroke a fellow worker from the machine, LLOYD wasn't awarded his gate card by the crew. They want to see him one more time from the gate...

Gary really couldn't see why they weren't satisfied with how he went in or came out. He worked very well though, and it certainly isn't a big issue to have him go again from the gate.

can that be done before 12/31 or will his start have to be pushed back?

He can go to the gate next week and Gary will decide from there.
