No.. With being gelded, he will be delayed a bit... More from Chuck when he can from Ocala...

Actually just talked to Chuck who is at Ocala and had seen REDBOARD KING jogging. Is very pleased with his movement 'in behind' which was what tipped the hand that the colt needed gelding. He was clearly uncomfortable fully equipped, and was failing to extend himself. Chuck liked how he was going based on today, and figures 'King' will need 4-5 weeks to get to race fitness. Figure end of February now as a target.

MISSUS MAYFLOWER continues to do really well, (loves to work), and is pointing for a race in 3-4 weeks.

THis is the first I heard about him being gelded. Did I miss any other info on him or any other of the horses in this partnership? Thanks again for keeping us apprised of their progress

i know i saw it in another thread the other day, that he would be gelded due to discomfort 'back there', but i'm not sure what thread it was.

Spoke to Chuck immediately after Redboard's breeze. Was VERY comfortable getting over the lawn and felt smooth and strong according to Diego Rodriguez who was aboard. He has been a new horse since the gelding. He'll need to trim some excess weight, but only needs a handful of works and some gate schooling to be ready. Chuck looking at a mid-late March debut going 1 mile on the Tampa turf.
