MTB ownership tied to Alaskan corruption trial?

And so it goes on...

Owner Mark Allen's father, Bill, pleaded guilty to three counts of corruption in 2007, but in exchange for his pleas, his son was spared prosecution, if, anything turned up against him. Not really known if anything did turn up.
But, someone should tell Chip Woolley that the media may have found something else to talk about other than his truck ride from New Mexico to Kentucky.

Big Chuck will be up next.
Tied to a felony food fight.
And the Nerdy Trailers will go down with him.

That's funny- I posted the exact same link (to McClatchy, which is a site I've never read) in an earlier thread. Heh. Of all of the thousands of links now on the internet about it we pick the same one.

The Anchorage paper has a more complete piece about it- apparently Bill Allen told prosecutors his son gave a bribe to a legislator. There's a link to the Anchorage article at the end of the Bloodhorse article on it.

Sigh. I was so happy for the little guy but he bought his horses with the $30 million he got when his family sold their oil company which apparently they did after greasing some palms. I miss yellow school buses and lemonade stands.
