Back to earth

It's Monday night and the Derby Trail crew has almost entirely packed it up and shipped out, and apparently it took everyone else as well, as there was nobody at the track today. Felt like Belmont on a weekday.

Ever since I got that break on the pick three on opening day, I've been getting served left and right, and today was just another example. ****ing Sciacca has rocked me twice now with no-hope longshots beating me out of exactas in second.

At the house right now decompressing after a rough weekend, which I'll get into more at a later date and on DT. Lots of drama, that's for sure. Only one person really took the shaft, and even his cronies say that that guy had it coming a long time ago.

Even though I got destroyed at the windows, it was a hell of a time with the DT faithful and I'd love it if they came up again.

Starting work on Wednesday, which is obviously a major drag, but need the money, man.

Still developing the developing trends section that I promised, but the problem is that everything has been so topsy-turvy, there's no major, consistent trends to report.

On the bad news front, I realized today that I left my digicam card reader at home, which means I'll either have to get it mailed up here or wait until I go home after Travers to post all the pics. I'll post Chris' pics later tonight or tomorrow, if that helps.
