Did Sumwon work this morning?

According to the ChuckBlog, Sumwon was supposed to work 5 furlongs today. Was that workout postponed?

Also, when Sumwon was under the weather, blood was drawn for testing. Did the results come back? Did they show anything?

Scattered thunderstorms are predicted for Chicago next Wednesday. I know Arlington has an artificial main track. Does Sumwon run in the rain?

Just curious...

ddthetide 07-05-2007 10:28 AM

who's riding for us next week?

Cannon Shell 07-05-2007 10:59 AM

Todays work was postponed until tommorrow due to muddy track conditions. We will work 5 furlongs around 8:30am.

The bloodwork was normal.

Our rider situation is as of yet unresolved.

Does Arlington draw entries for Wednesday races on Saturday or Sunday? Anyone know?

That'll give them a lot of time to come up with a reason to scratch once they see the mighty Sumwon in the field.

lets hope we get the usually 7 hangers in this type of race.

You might get some Churchill horses in there as they are done and some are moving here. Will be interesting to see the jock situation on Wednesday with Albarado, Guidry and a couple more coming up here.

Laviolette will have less opportunity to screw me now, which is always a good thing

If looks got you wins, she'd be unbeaten !!! When she was coming off the track after her jog, an aquaintance (a vet I think) asked Chuck if that was his filly. Her comment was " what a gorgeous filly...she's a real hotty ". imo she could not look better....unless she was in the winner's circle.

Benny Leger 07-05-2007 05:21 PM

congrats

Chuck, congrats to you and the crew on Honour Maid's victory today at CD. That's the first win in a long upcoming winning streak to be continued in Chicago on Wednesday. By the way, is the french kid you rode today availble on wed. He looks like he can ride a little ...lol

Benny Leger 07-05-2007 05:24 PM

Actually it's the second win in a long continuing winning streak....they stole one from you and Ben's League last weekend.

Cool, good news ... I hope the Ledger Boys (to be played in Sumwonlovesyou The Movie by the Baldwin Brothers:) ) whispered in her ear when she got her peppermints, and told her next Wednesday is "her" day!

Chuck, is Cherie able to come to Arlington, or does she have to stay back and help TC with the CD stay-at-homes?

I believe that the "road dog" TC will be making the trip. Cherie is leaving for NY later in the week.

You might not want to say this in public with GPK around.
