a few words for Curlin

What a fine colt, runs his heart out...every time. If the connections give him ample rest, this horse will be hard to beat !!! As for the rest of the summer campaign, I dont see Rags, SS, or Curling battling each other (not even in Travers). If things go well for everyone rest of this years BCC will be one for the ages. I predict Curlin to win.

I'm not making any predictions, but I'd just like to publicly appreciate Curlin. This horse has done so much in such a small amount of time, and still has yet to run a bad race. They don't make 'em like Curlin anymore.

curlin is no bernardini, and bernie couldn't get by invasor.

No, the first time a horse looked Bernardini in the eye, he folded like a tent...Curlin is a lot tougher than Bernardini.

Of course that doesn't mean I'd take Curlin over Invasor!

yeah, I do remember him from last year !! ran down bernardini, I wast very excited about that. Anyway, time has passed since... Tough Im very happy Rags won, but consider Curlin's campaign plus 5lbs. Preakness has to take a lot out this colt.

Here we go again. As if he spit the bit and backed up against some $10,000 claimer. He lost by a length against one of the best older horses in years who was much the best on that day. A lesser horse would've been trounced.. Oh wait, the rest of the field was!

I took a hell of horse to look bernardini in the eye!!! that horse was the HOY 2006, not any ordinary horse. Now, for Curlin, I cant say that he is better than Bernardini. What I can say is that he will win BCC (pending any unforeseen events).

where is Invasor running next? anyone?

i've seen utopia mentioned, and ap arrow....

join those with Curlin. When is the last time a horse has run 6 times, 5 in graded stakes, won a Grade I, II and III, finished 2nd by a nose in a Grade I and 3rd with a troubled trip in a Grade I? This horse needs some time off, but there is still room for improvement, hope he comes back in the summer because he has the potential to be a real beast. Get the feeling that the horse will be much better than now on Breeder's Cup day. Would like to see Albarado taken off this colt.

three incredible tc races, all with more than one horse who deserved to win...but of course, only one can. well, usually.

great series, i enjoyed this years classics very much. certainly put nails in the 'belmont means nothing' coffin today!
