after all is said and done, the race was actually pretty formful top to bottom.

There might be a typo in the chart comments. "COWTOWN CAT, up close between horses early, was finished leaving the backstretch" s/b finished leaving the starting gate.

For the record the other horses that contested the pace finished in the last 5. Monster effort by Hard Spun. I want to see him trained up to the Belmont.
