I would absolutely love to see Roaring Lion go in the Classic. No better track to try that swap on than Churchill.

cal828 10-02-2018 05:04 PM

Steve in the classic you have Accelerate at #5 and #8. Diversify not in it?

Thx. Fixed. I don稚 think Diversify will run ultimately, but he was supposed to be on that #8 slot.

With firm going expected Sunday in Paris, speculation is that Cracksman won't run. Having been expected for the Arc/Champion Stakes, that would make him more likely to come here after the Ascot start 10/20.

Are all the fields regulated to 14? Seems like there
are a lot lined up for the classic

Runs at Ascot in career finale.

Churchill always seems to have the largest Breeders Cup fields.
I'm guessing geographic location.

I知 starting to like Yoshida as a possible longshot for the Classic. McKinzie and Catholic Boy are getting a lot of hype right now, not sure they値l live up to it.

Kasept 10-07-2018 10:29 AM

Wild Illusion wins Opera and expected for Cup, but Arc runner-up effort by Sea of Class marks Haggas 3yo filly as major force if she comes..

Kasept 10-08-2018 09:16 AM

Haggas announces that Sea of Class will be put away for the year..

cakes44 10-09-2018 05:59 AM

Baffert actually mentioned the BCC as a possibility for Collected after his last work?

How long will he be? That horse has a big fanbase.

Here he is from yesterday. Horse can't work much better. https://www.xbtv.com/video/workout/c...ober-8th-2018/

In advance of the PRX races, Baffert had told John Servis (whose barn his horses were in), that Collected would struggle if the track was slow and heavy. And he did. He also told Servis that McKinzie would run big no matter what the surface was like.

Diversify out of Classic as predicted by Byk Boss Man.

West Coast Rep

Sadler with two, Baffert with 3, D'Amoto, O'Neill and Hollendorfer 1 apiece
Very poor west coast representation:mad::eek:

Good point. Even for the future wagers, he got bet down from 12-1 to 9-1 in the last 5 minutes of pool 2. If he’s in the race, I’m thinking 5-1 is a possibility.

After watching Pavel relish the Churchill strip winning the Foster, I would NOT count him out against any bunch. He will be a nice price, too.

I could be way off but I rank it:

A: Accelerate
B: Catholic Boy, Yoshida, Thunder Snow
C: West Coast, Pavel

I知 not even considering McKinzie or Mind Your Biscuits. But I also routinely botch my handicapping of some of these big races. I知 a little disappointed Diversify is out since I think it could have helped some of the late runners.

Sharp Samurai knocked out with throat infection.. Shadwell's Mustashry (Stoute) in officially and with A Raving Beauty likely in the FMT, Almanaar (Brown and Shadwell as well) would get in too..

Kasept 10-26-2018 07:15 AM

Bravazo officially to the Dirt Mile, so with City of Light expected there as well, Gunnevara will make the Classic. Seeking the Soul next in if Lone Sailor goes Dirt Mile..

I’m not even considering McKenzie or Mind Your Biscuits. But I also routinely botch my handicapping of some of these big races. I’m a little disappointed Diversify is out since I think it could have helped some of the late runners.

Only knock on McKenzie is lack of racing. However it is Baffert and Smith on a lightly raced very fast horse and that is a valuable combination at 6-1 M/L.

Also Mac (107) and Buisquits (108) have the last highest Beyers. :)
