SB 12-1 ML?
I gotta think he's going to be 50/1 by the end of the pool. Two months and a week until the race and he's just about nearing his first workout? |
Candy Boy, Bayern and Uncle Sigh would be the 3 I played.
Uncle Sigh's price goes way down after this Saturday though. |

If he had been in last years crop, I think he'd have been a much better horse, relative to the crop. If I had to bet a shot in the Derby this year, as of right now, I guess I'd go with Kristo. Lot's of good horses in front of him though. |

California Chrome looks like an improving colt.

Chad Brown should also bring back Testa Rossi in the Herecomesthebride, which is this weekend as well. |

Totally understand why they want to close the wager before the start of the race, but that's 1:17 pacific time. They're apt to lose a lot of handle this time around by not allowing it to go later in the day and/or into Sunday. I imagine a lot of players would like to see what their balance is at the end of Saturday, and then decide how much they want to play on the future wager. |

Hoping if he meets Bayern, Stevens sticks with Candy Boy. I think Byk likes him to I remember him mentioning him in that first thread. |
CD Marketing dept stinks
Derby FUtures this weekend, saw in couple of places that DRF will have pps in all THurs- Sat editions. Went to liquor store to by tomorrows form here in Northern CA. Looked thru both editions for Fri, small and big simo no pps.
Thursdays editions had them, but no OAKS pps. Unbelievable, no wonder the handle is down. Darren Rogers are you paying attention? |

I bought the form, thanks for the link. It's still messed up that you have to download 100 pages to get pps for 23 horses. Brisnet had them for the 2nd pool in a nice link that was in a few spots. Don't understand the thinking here by Churchill, DRF and BRIS.

The Oaks & Derby FW PP's are 4 pages printed out at DRF. The links are on every track's PP download. But here they are direct: http://static.drf.com/PDFs/sample/futurepool3.pdf As for misguided shots at Darren Rogers, the Brisnet PP's for FW's are always free at kentuckyderby.com: http://www.kentuckyderby.com/racing-...g/future-wager |
I played top billing, general a road and conquest titan in the twinspires future contest
|
For some reason Kentucky Derby-Oaks Future's are not in the drop down menu at twinspires this morning.
|
I noticed this for pool 1...seemed like the pool would disappear while u.s. Racing was off the menu
|
"All Others" has been rising steadily all day and is now about 3.30-1. The last 4 years it has closed between 3-1 and 3.7-1. For the past 14 years, the average is 4.9-1. (that's for the "pool 2"s that were usually run in this time period.)

Sheesh! The Future Wager odds and will-pays at KentuckyDerby.com stopped updating at 3:44pm, more than 30 minutes before the close of betting. What's up with that?!
--Dunbar |
I just refreshed again, and it's still showing:
Kentucky Derby Future Wager Pool 3 Live Odds & Will Pays Get Free Brisnet Past Performances for Pool 3 Total Wagered: $208,195.82 Last Update: Mar 1, 2014 3:44:21 PM 1 Albano Trained by J. Jones 55-1 M/L 30 $3,083.12 ... |
Finally fixed. At 4:50pm?
Total Wagered: $239,389.52 Last Update: Mar 1, 2014 4:50:13 PM We were left to bet without a toteboard for the last 30 minutes of betting. And if we bet anyway, we had to wait another 35 minutes to see what odds we got. --Dunbar |
These pools are horribly run...other then opening and closing them Churchill does squat for them
