We'll be there. Miguel gave Ausable her win. Maybe he can do the same for Lloyd.

Talked with Richard Migliore at the Old Friends benefit last night. He said he'd be in the paddock today for Lloyd's race. Also had a lot of nice things to say about Ausable. His little girl grew very attached to her when she was at their farm and did a lot of crying when she left. Said he and his family will be there for her next race.
What a nice man - real gentleman. |
Good Luck today Gang!
|
Not going to make it out but will be watching and rooting. Go LLoyd!

Forgot about it and looked over at the screen! Good luck!
|
Didn't break well which probably cost him. He made a nice move turning for home but flattened out finishing 8th.
I look forward to hearing what Mena has to say. Paul |
Looked really good in the paddock - excellent condition. Such a nice, compliant horse.
14 horses going 6 furlongs - pretty crowded real estate. Lloyd got pushed out a couple times on the turn. Can't offer an opinion if the blinkers helped, hindered,or made no difference. Mena did a good job considering the crowding. Lloyd needs to go a bit longer - 6 furlongs isn't getting it done. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
Was rooting for Dee Tee. Great pictures, Doreen!
|
Thanks for the pictures. He may not have run well but Lloyd sure looked great.
Hopefully he came back well. Paul |
Beautiful afternoon and a really nice turnout of current, new and old partners, their families and friends. Lloyd contintues to be absent of his original early lick which leaves him a lot to do. Mena was happy with the way he felt and finished despite being herded 8-9 wide by Mr. Popps. Changed at the 16th pole and galloped out good. Came out of it fine, though he was a little tired when I visited him a bit ago, and will run back soon looking for 7f. Thanks to everybody who was on hand and rooted along and Gary, Paul, Miguel and Julio!

He looks very handsome -- thanks for the pix.
