Oh my God Steve :{>: thank you and I love you and I might not have seen this cause I was only gonna play Flemington but then I thought well wait no cause Monday is a holiday and I figured maybe I just should NOT look at PP's since I did so horribly with Dubai on Thursday so I decided fuhgettaboutit and OH! :D

I am SO SO happy you noticed this cause (okay now I feel) all things aside I am the biggest (like I'm having) pedigree moron and my eyes might have glazed (a panic attack) right over and (must.... breathe....) and, and...

Thanks Steve.

If he has a fraction of his moms speed..... :tro:

I'll have at least $20 to win and $50 to place on (Anna Maria) Albergatti.

Can't pass a hunch like that from this board.

Hey, I was baptized Catholic, AND I'm Irish. I understand your guilt, and feel your pain.

That's why I have to have that guaranteed bet down tomorrow.

(I did win a little at Golden Gate Fields today, so the wager is play $$)

Princess Doreen 01-16-2011 09:51 AM

Good luck today, MMSC et al. IF I get over to OTB, I'll probably throw down a $20/win wager. Wonder who's betting against because of the JJ/SA connections?!~

My son plays golf so at least I didn't lapse into a coma this time. (KIdding)!

Well. If it makes anyone feel any better I never change my plays BUT thought nah I don't wanna play across the board at those odds and any other horse I wouldn't play anyway so changed it and put it all to win. :wf

He briefly had the lead in stretch, but the #1 horse came back on.

When he was bet down to 4/5 for a couple ticks I almost started re-thinking the wager. But I did end up a $5 winner....which was my admission to the OTB.

Nice race though.

Puddle Jumper 01-16-2011 06:07 PM

I just checked Equibase for the results of the race since I couldn't watch it live. He made it close. His mama would be proud. :)

VOL JACK 01-16-2011 07:40 PM

Looks like a 2 turn colt to me.

He probably is a two turn colt, but not on that trach, it's a ridiculous speed
bias, these races aren't even worth watching, it's like the old Keeneland, as long as your in front turning for home you win, no matter how good
or bad you are, it's ridiculous.

Why not on that track?
You are arguing against yourself here...He was on the lead going short.
Where do you think he will be if he goes long next time?

LARHAGE 01-16-2011 09:29 PM

I would like to see these horses relax and make a run, especially if they have Derby plans, everyone knows though you can't close so these horses are being ridden accordingly, they seem to flatten out from being rushed into the race.

The first quarter was 21.67.

Abergatti had to work hard from the #7 post to get to the lead battle with the eventual winner on the rail.

He was outside the whole route.

Just a January allowance race, but it rang of Alydar and Affirmed.
