was gonna try and watch from work but doesn't look like going to be able - so best racing luck and safe trips to Tony and KNS :{>:, hope she's feelin good today, go get em girl !

MaTH716 06-08-2010 11:38 AM

Good Luck guys!

SuffolkGirl 06-08-2010 11:55 AM

A game second. Looked like she got a bit of a second wind coming to the wire.

Kasept 06-08-2010 11:57 AM

There was a moment past the 16th pole where it looked like she was going to collar the winner... She's plucky.

TouchOfGrey 06-08-2010 11:58 AM

For I moment there I thought she was coming on again, too. Another nice effort!

MaTH716 06-08-2010 12:09 PM

Congrats on the 2nd place finsh guys. She was definitely game today. I thought she was in some trouble around the turn, but she dug in gamely and made a run at the winner. Hopefully she comes back to the DT BARN okay.

Many Others 06-08-2010 12:09 PM

had the video up and got to watch the break then of course got interrupted -then tryin to watch the reply INTERRUPTED AGAIN honestly lol - really like the way Tony rides her, he's not afraid to get her out of the gate and just go for it - thank you Team Simon and congrats to KNS on the second place, every $$ helps to pay the bills !

pweizer 06-08-2010 12:31 PM

Another good effort. I think a turnback might be a good move for her.

She is a very hard trying mare in any event. Every barn needs one like this.

Soo close! being 6/5 makes it harder to take but that was a very good effort once again.

The jockey sure knew what he was doing.

Cannon Shell 06-08-2010 01:06 PM

She tries hard everytime. Looks like she has cooled out fine.

TheSpyder 06-08-2010 07:29 PM

Having grown up at the Big T, I can say, that is one hell of a nickle claimer!

DJARUM 06-08-2010 07:58 PM

KnS was out of that gate, look like she was actually running fast. Another 2nd can't hurt, why not let her stay in Philly. Can't beat the purses.

Benny Leger 06-08-2010 08:38 PM

You can always count on Jazzy to give you what she's got. Some days she just doesn't have enough....but 50% "on the board" finishes ain't bad.

Danzig 06-08-2010 08:54 PM

just watched the replay of the race. once again, another exciting race from our tough as nails mare. hope she comes out of it well. look forward to our next start.

speaking of racing females, what's up with missus mayflower?

I agree on that. You have to think at some point it will simply be her turn in one of those 5k Philly races. The one who beat her today finished behind KNS twice before at Philly this year. Was 1 length behind her in February and 5 lengths behind her in the slop race.

Steve mentioned on ATR today that she worked 3F recently and should have a 1/2 mile work fairly soon. Said it has taken some time to get over her sore shins.
