R. Albarado vs J. Leparoux only 2 jocks to have mounts in all six stake races. Which jock has the better mounts? Which one has the better chance to win more than one race on sat?

So the ML fav and 2nd choice are on the rail and the outside post, respectively.

Just makes things a little more interesting...........

This looks to be the most competitive (and best) race of the day.

I know, I know, Warrior's Reward will run away with it.........:D

Cards like Friday's and Saturday's at CD make you believe that good racing still exists.

Obviously don't know course condition because of the forecast, but I think Leparoux has a big shot on Saturday with Fantasia. She ran real well in a loaded allowance race at Keeneland in last and has the back class to handle the "rise" back to stakes competition.

Agree... my hats off to the CD racing office, who put together two absolutely amazing cards. I am drooling at the opportunities already.

First one at 8am sucks, but the 10th is awesome.

Gotta ease your way into the juleps. Stop at Finlandia on the way in, grab a bloody mary at 10:00, a julep at 11:00, then move to beer. Your handicapping acumen plummets, but it makes for an otherwise fun Derby day.

My buddy has the simple syrup already prepared. It's hard to chill those things. They are tough out of the gate, but they get better with time.

there is no speed at all in the woodford reserve. i think al khali has a good chance on or just off the slow pace.

Congrats to Tom McCarthy! He just won the Turf Classic with General Quarters. I loved that group hug he got afterward. Best thing on the NBC coverage so far.

Yeah, I remember hearing that - Steve Haskin made an issue about it last year. Heard other stories directly opposite. I frankly don't give a damn. I LOVE THAT HORSE - GENERAL QUARTERS. And, I am soooooooo happy he won.

He overcame a lot - gotta give him and his jockey a lot of credit. It's going to make for a very interesting Preakness. I'm just glad Super Saver won, cuz that's who I bet on. Nothing earth shattering $5 across the board.

It took me a while to latch onto Super Saver, but I went with it because it was Calvin and because it was double SS's like in Street Sense. Hey, it worked.
