i have no nba picks tonight, if he plays a lot of chalk again tonight in the nba he will proably lose , my only play would be a small take on the thunder

Well he would have to sweep tonight to win exactly $1000... Clearly if Dayton losses, that is giant for me, because then he can at best only split 2 of his reverses and losses the straight $200 wager. Today he said he wont chase, and his bets confirm that, this is the first time hes played $50 reverses and not $100. He also said if he takes a hit tonight he might just stop and settle up Saturday. I trust him, and I like Dayton tonight so maybe he will do good.

if you want to keep this guy going , you want him to win Dayton tonight and miss some of the other games , you don't want to send him to the cemetary every night

what you have to bea ready for is if he gets down big he may go to the 4 or 5 team parlay and try to take a shot to get everything back in 1 shot , that might happen on say the final 4 on sat if he is way behind

He is going away for a week Sunday, we agreed 3 weeks ago "this week" ends friday night, and if hes down he cant bet the final four till he settles.... He really wantes to bet the Final 4 and title game, but he knew well ahead of time he would have to settle up first, he basicley has 4 days Today-Fri, we are getting together Saturday morning, already set, up either way. I almost want him to get smashed tonight be down like 1700 and settle up and be done, I will have made about 3k in a month if that happens, and Ill be happy with all of it.

Its weird cause if he sweeps its exactly $1000, then Im assuming he might just pass on the next 3 days and feel good about himself, he was down 540 at one point, got it up to plus 250, and now this.... It was an $800 swing his way and now another $1350 back my way.

Right now, he is Minus $1015.

Sounds like the guy needs an intervention.

When he called we talked for about 15 minutes, I told him his number is getting high and to not put me in a bad place "because he thinks Im calling everything in" He said its not a problem, if he gets to or over $1500 he will stop and come pay me and end it.

I hope you are right, but usually they can pay the first couple of weeks. He will go bad and not pay sooner or later. Your best case scenario is him losing a few hundred a week for an extended period of time. He is such a crappy gambler he has no option but to stiff you. I know you don't like me but ask Gales what he thinks, this is what is going to happen. Gales has seen this before. Get as much out of him as you can because you will eventually get stiffed. I highly doubt he will stiff me, hes a local guy. I know where he works and I know people who know him. I dont think he wants to be embarressed. He also dosent really like his girlfriend knowing, so I dont think he wants to deal with that.

Assuming UNC stays under and really looks like its going to, he won a little over $500 TONIGHT, his number going into tomorrow is minus $555.

Now that we know these facts, you're good.....there's no way he'll stiff you. :rolleyes:

He works for an insurance company, it insures Albany Med, The Hardford. He says he does well. Family also has some $.

I just noticed this post. The guy is losing on average close to a dime a week and you want to try to start talking him out of games? The guy seems to have a major gambling problem and to make matters worse he not good at it either. If you are going to take the action, do yourself a favor and don't try to steer him one way or the other.

Ok theres only 3 games tonight and he already bet one of them "wanted to lock lines in" Dayton opened at a pick and it was up to 3.5 dayton last night, so public actually betting Dayon HARD. When I got his lines this morning off donbest it was Dayton minus 2.5 so it actually moved a bit UNC way. He already bet Dayton minus 2.5 for $300. He loves Orlando and Denver... He is calling them in before noon, he is minus $684 going into tonight.

i would lay off the magic bets , orlando is a better team than dallas and dallas is coming off of ot

i would hold the denver play as i think that portland had a very easy game last night with the knikcs (i know i was wrong) and they catch pts tonight in denver

He hit a reverse for 100 so he made 400 he hit dayton for 3 so he made 700.
But then he plays over in both nba games 200 and 202 losses both for 2 each, and losses a 3 team play for 1 so he drops 550 only makes 150... but he has 100$ open reverse into today that he started with a win "denver" so he hits that, its another 400... His number is a little over 700 minus going into today.
