Hmm, that's very tempting. Steve or anyone, how long does it take to drive from Albany to The Big A?

About 2 hours and 40 minutes, but traffic on a weekday is the variable. The thing to consider is the train down and subway out to Aqueduct.

Lloydobler & the first round of NCAA March Madness tournament......who could ask for anything more! :)

By car - Coming down, as long as you hit the Bronx after 10:30AM, you should be fine traffic wise.

If you want to get home early, you could probably leave Aqueduct as late as 3PM and have a good chance of getting out of town unscathed.

If you want to stay for the whole card (and not sit in traffic). You can do do the train as Steve suggested, or hit road after 6:30PM.

We're on the road traveling through the southern tier. I did not take my passwords to see the race at Aqueduct and there's no such thing as HRTV off TVG here in Hilton Head. Someone please post the link to the race when it becomes available.

Speed and held pretty well
 

Mig took him to the lead on the inside and stayed on the inside the whole way. He was passed at the top of the stretch by the winner but all in all held pretty well. No sure if he runs best that way but his number 2 post sort of dictated the race that he ran.

All in all a good effort i thought

speed and fade might be one way to describe? kinda like a big kid, over-eager, will learn eventually...

Congrats on the third place finish guys and girls. Hopefully he comes out of the race OK.

did all the running and didn't change leads. Another fine ride by The Mig.:rolleyes: (He absolutely, positively had to be out there dueling.)

Very mice race by Lloyd. Sciacca happy. Mig impressed.

I thought he ran big & stayed on pretty well...congrats on the 3rd, he'll be in the winner's circle soon.

Every race he's been in, he turns his head to the right coming off the far turn. It's as if something in the stands or the stands itself distracts him. He certainly has the speed.

We found a great sports bar here in Hilton Head that was willing to give us one of their big screen tv's so we could watch the race. The place was filled with NCAA fans. Nice place, friendly owner, good food and drinks, fair prices -Callahans on New Orleans Road if you ever have the need to watch a race in Hilton Head.:)

Nice race by Lloyd, as PSH noted, the post dictated Lloyd being on the engine, he broke well and Mig did not want to strangle him back. He should be set up for a big effort next time out. Much more professional today, none of the rankness or greeness we saw in the first two starts. It is too bad that we ended up going from outside to inside on the redraw. He certainly put the Assman's horse away though!

Time of Lloyds race was same as 7th Allowance.

Any notable track bias today? Unfortunately did not get to watch the rest of the card.

I was only there from the 2nd to 5th (work really got in the f'n way today!) and the track played fair today form what I saw IMO.
