Interesting runner in the 2nd, #2 Away I Go. Only a 5 horse field and easily the longest shot on the ML at 8-1 but has a real shot in here. First off a 10 month layoff @ MNR dueled for 5F with a horse stretching out, put her away, made a strong move to get away on the turn, and held off the 3/5 favorite in the stretch. The 3 favorites all have holes in their resume and this one could start the early pick 4 off the right way.

like the 10 abit in the first..

the maker prob wins at a short price but i like the 8,9,10,12 to fill out the tri.

brutal. that horse spit the bit off easy fractions at aqueduct and was really unplayable at 7/1. of course maker wins :rolleyes:

So goddamn frustrating, especially when the race plays out exactly as expected, except for the fact that the horse has the "extra juice" at the end...

yes, and i give him credit for that. he's been phenomenal, no doubt. prob a flat bet profit for the meet. i try not to handicap jockeys though but he's tough to exclude from any race right now.

Not loving the favorite in the 4th. If the 4 returns to the GP turf form she wins- cross a line through the last (on dirt) and 2nd last (saddle slipped.)

That's who I like a little. Not sure about diving in for 4-1 though.

Pimlico race 5, interesting stake, tons of speed and only 2 closers- both Steve Klesaris. betting the 7 to win (19-1 right now but will go off at 10 or so) and playing a 3,7/1,3,4,7 exacta plus a 3,7 box press.
