Wagner down, and no other Met has a save(don't know how that can be, but whatever.)

no bullpen to speak of and not much starting pitching, with a new ballpark on the way they must get some next year or that place will be half empty

Cannon Shell 08-05-2008 10:51 PM

Huston Street 2-1
Brian Fuentes 5-2
David Weathers 4-1

Sounds like the Yankees too....

The carousel has started. Today's episode of "who will blow the win for Sanatna" has begun. Duaner Sanchez hit a guy with his first pitch. And the next contestant is Pedro Feliciano, come on down.....

Unreal. We've officially hit rock bottom when it's reached the point that I'm upset they lost a waiver claim on Livan Hernandez.

MaTH716 08-07-2008 01:32 PM

Feliciano gets and out and then gives up a hit and a run. Bases loaded 1 out 3-2 Mets. Joe Smith come on down.... you are the next contestant.

SniperSB23 08-07-2008 01:36 PM

Nice work Joe!

MaTH716 08-07-2008 01:38 PM

Wow, joe Smith bailed out by an unbelievable double play. The other Reyes playing 2nd makes a diving snare of a ball up the middle and then Nick Evans playing first somehow grabs a terrible throw (and getting a home field call) by Jose Reyes. 6-4-3 double play and they get out of the inning. Will we see Armando Heilman in the 9th?

Funny you say that cause I was premature on my hitting rock bottom call. Rock bottom is the fact that I was just on this page:

He was as bad as bad can get. But Heilman is quickly heading towards that territory.

MaTH716 08-07-2008 01:51 PM

The carousel continues, Scott Schonwiess come on down.....

MaTH716 08-07-2008 01:53 PM

Johnny tell him what he's won!

MaTH716 08-07-2008 01:53 PM

Jody Gerut with a hr that almost hit the 7 train.

SniperSB23 08-07-2008 01:53 PM

Didn't see that coming.

MaTH716 08-07-2008 01:55 PM

and SCUDS thinks he has problems. But look at the bright side all the Mets fans are out buying #4 jets jerseys and trying to get super bowl tickets.

MaTH716 08-07-2008 01:56 PM

Aaron Heilman come on down....

Willie Randolph is laughing somewhere in Jersey right now!

Heels1989 08-07-2008 01:57 PM

I heard something about the J-E-T-S picking up a guy named Farve. Maybe he can help out the M-E-T-S. ;)

By the end of this season, he probably will wish he was traded to the Mets!

MaTH716 08-07-2008 02:07 PM

David Wright, bails out the pen. For the 7th time this year they blew a game that Santana was in line for the win in. Johan probably wishes he was traded to the Royals by now!

Not the same type problem. We've had some injuries, but I really think the team the Dodgers have should be 10 games over .500. Poor manager who has thrown away too many close games this year. There is no way that trash Johnson should have been trying to keep the Cards from scoring in the 11th inning on Tuesday Night. He had both Broxton n' Kuo with 56 and 96 hours rest, and preferred to p-i-s-s the game away. So be it, btch. F'n loser female part. You're in trouble when ya have close games, and an idiot making decisions. It's hard to overcome that fool. Look at Wednesday's game, too. He just sits n' spectates until Lowe has given up 8 runs. Just sits. Pujols hits a grand slam to give them 7 runs, and Joe still sits. Next guy up also goes yard. Finally, he goes to get Lowe. It didn't do this pitcher or the team any favors to do that. This guy either has his stuff breaking down low, or it stays hi-center. There is no way he can be left in when it's hi-center. It's just not gunna get better, and I have seen dumb people sit n' wait until the predictible ass-kikn just keeps coming. Such poor decision making. I can honestly say many kids of 6-7 years age could do better.

After yesterday's performance, you should be over this!
