4th and 21.... :D

Nah probably USC vs Texas in the BCS Championship a few years back.

Scav 08-05-2008 03:41 PM

Is this in person?

If it is in person, I have a couple

Years ago, had to be 1995 or 1996, Bears vs Packers Halloween weekend when it was ridiculous weather

Bears vs 49ers overtime win couple years ago

Bears vs Falcons when it was negative 15, negative 30 with wind chill, and your beer would freeze before you got to your seat....

As a Bills fan that one was tough to go against but the Boise St - Oklahoma game was pretty incredible.

Antitrust32 08-05-2008 03:43 PM

In person??

I've seen some good Eagles/Cowboys games.

Maybe when we stuffed Emmit Smith twice on 4th and 1!! :D I was just a little girl!

hoovesupsideyourhead 08-05-2008 03:43 PM

I was at this Bills-Jets game when it was 28 below wind chill, Blanchard missed three field goals and the Bills won the AFC East 16-14. We had a thermos of hot chocolate but never drank it cause as soon as you took your glove off to open the thermos it was frozen stiff and could never regain feeling once your glove was back on.

Favre isn't coming to the Bears, Bears have zero cap room for this year.

And I am not sure how I feel about it, I would love the fact that Packer fans would probably be besides themselves seeing Favre in a Bears jersey, and I don't know if I would want to see it either.

Bears wouldn't have a shot with Peyton Manning this year, Marty Booker and Brandon Lloyd are our starting WR's, nuff said.....

It is so much fun, Mora Jr was the coach and that bitch Vick was freezing his ass off, you could see Mora yelling and spit flying and actually freezing.

I was an idiot and just wore a sweatshirt with a long sleeve shirt on under, with gloves, could have used like two more jackets :)

I was at the Orange Bowl Michigan and Brady vs Alabama and Alexander. OT, great game and I won a big bet with a nemisis. Kenny Noe gave a bunch of us 50 yd line tickets.

I was at the worst SB in history, SF vs SD (boring)

I was at the Menke Car Care bowl, Miami vs. Virginia (Tiki got knocked out cold, was laying on the ground by the bench)

Either of the Browns-Broncos games those back to back years
Lions Packers playoffs in 93 (Favre to Sharpe Hail Mary to win)
Scavs Halloween game he mentioned ( yes, there for that insanity as well)
Norwood-Wide Right
Vander-dick..waaay wide right
Rams-Titans SB
endless choices

The Giants Patriots game last year was goooooooooooooooooood

Ohio State vs NC State in 2004 I believe went triple overtime, gooooooooood

In person any Ohio State Michigan game is just incredible, the atmosphere is second to none

But the best game hands down for me was the 2007 Super Bowl (sorry Scavs) Colts Bears just because it was so sweet for a diehard Colts fan

OSU-Miami Fiesta Bowl for the national championship just beats any of the OSU-Michigan games I've been at.

MaTH716 08-05-2008 04:39 PM

Obviously for me the 2 Giants Super Bowls come to mind. But in 90, they beat the 49ers at Candlestick on the last second Matt Barh FG to go to the Super Bowl. That was a tremendous game but it gets forgotton because of the wide right in the SB.

Also-The Tuck Game in the snow at Foxboro & Packers-49ers at Candlestick when Steve Young hit TO in the endzone as time expired.

Very true but I did not like the outcome and yes I live in Columbus. That was one helluva game.

I was going to mention that one too...great game, even if the refs jobbed the Packers on the fumble earlier

My top two as well.

"The Comeback" will be forever tough to beat though, the game was blacked out in WNY so I had to go on the roof and point the antenna to TORONTO to get CBC coverage!!! We were huddled around my dad's crappy 13" TV watching a fuzzy picture with Canadian announcers. Yippee!

Best game I've ever seen in person was Auburn/Alabama 1989. It was the first game in the rivalry ever played in Auburn after many years in Birmingham. The intensity and passion has not been surpassed at any sporting event I've seen live. I can't remember the final score, maybe DTTide or C.Pants can remember.:D

The monday night game between the Jets & Dolphins in 2000....the "The Monday Night Miracle" , where the Jets scored 30 points in the 4th quarter.

Storm Cadet 08-05-2008 07:01 PM

1986 at the Meadowlands, NY defeating the 49ers and Redskins by a combined score of 66–3 in the playoffs, the Giants advanced for the first time to play the Denver Broncos at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena in Super Bowl XXI. The Stadium was rocking both days! LT and Phil Simms teams in their prime! :tro:

2nd place was 1973 at Shea watching OJ running wild over the Jets breaking 2000 yards in a season.

kenny p 08-05-2008 07:03 PM

Colts/Raiders in 77 playoffs. Score tied at 31... Stabler threw to Casper for the TD instead of going for the 3. The spread was 3.5 and they covered. Probably saved me a beatin. I always said Stabler had a big bet on that one. You could look it up. KP

Texas v. USC (folks, that was ungodly no matter what team you are a fan of)

Long ago as a wee lad, and then constant replays:

Texas v. Arkansas in Ark. 14-0 4th qrt. Ark...Texas wins 15-14
on some incredibly gutsy calls by D. Royal.

Of course I am in no way biased.

30-20 the barners.:o

one of my favorites was the 1985 Iron Bowl. Bama beats auburn 25-23 on Van Tiffin's 52 yd FG as the clock runs out.:D

Crestwood vs.Cleveland East High.

My speed and deception got me thrown out of the game.

But I got to watch a guy I didn't like get a downs marker planted in his foot.

sorry Jamie and Gator fans , but, there was a noles / gator game in the '90s where Florida blew a 28 pt 4th qtr lead

the gators had many many chances to make 1 play in that 4th qtr

bobby bowden kicked the extra point to tie the game and said "it it woulda been a shame to see the guys come all the way back and then lose, that why i went for the tie keith"

a few week later fsu beat the gators in the sugar bowl

for 3 qtrs i saw florida at it's best , they dominated fsu like no team had in years , an then it all changed in the 4t qtr , spurrier tried to run out the clock and it cost him dearly - what a game and what was great about it was there was no overtime at the time in cfb!!

My dad was at the Bills game in '73 where he had 166 yards after being held for 22 the first half.
